 I love to go to festivals during the summertime and snowboarding during
the winter. I am a big reggae music fan, but I keep my mind and ears open
to all types of music. I am originally from Chico, so that's how I became
familiar with the Mystic Roots Band. I am
currently attending UC Davis, but I return home almost every weekend
(except during the winter months). I am willing to do any sort of
promotions here in Davis as well as Chico.

 This is what I do when I'm Just Kickin It. Hmmm, what have I been up to lately... Well, kicked it in California for a year or so, got strung out on a beautiful intelligent (and quite shapely I assure you) girl and kinda blew off the family and kicked it in a VERY mellow college town called Davis. I did make it to a few desert parties, Burning Man (spun fire), and String Cheese tour. I pretty much got my PHd in relationships, and amazed myself. Anyway, I moved back to Seattle in March, built a racing school bus, wrecked it during the test run, and moved back to Davis. I think I'll be based out of here, but during the warmer months, I've been tRAVEling up and down the coast on intuition, chi manifestations and loving karma. Setting up outdoor parties and gettin' as funky as I wanna be. I have spent a lot of energy professing Universal love and Rainbow family values, and I have met many loving fellow humans. We spend too much time looking for the perfect Lover, and not enough time creating the perfect Love (and spreading it around). Have I lost you yet? I have only just begun!!! Well, you just wait until I begin spouting metaphysical meanderings, east-west thought bridging, and whatever other prattle I can articulate to you... And by the way - Anyone know what's REALLY goin' on here anyway!?

What I do is Harm Reduction. Basically it's just loving and educating my brothers and sisters on how to be safe on the drugs they are taking at parties. There are a lot of kids out there who go to "Raves" to get messed on drugs and dance till they pass out. These same kids bring other kids and teach them their bad habits. I go to parties gigglin' and grinnin' without the chemicals, and I try to enLIGHTen them. You see, MDMA and other hard drugs seriously dehydrate you, raise your heart rate, blood pressure, and drop your seritonin levels. This combination in an 'unaware' child is extremely dangerous. Too many kids' lives have been ruined by addiction, or terminal overdose. I always try to give away FREE water to keep them from passing out on the dancefloor 'cause they're too messed to remember to um, keep their bodies ALIVE while their Selves rejoice in BEING ALIVE. Understand? The joy of living can be greatly enhanced with the various drugs out there, but in using so much seritonin, eventually they MUST come down and simple sugars are the only way to raise them back up. Thats where candy and smart drinks come in. It's simple - blended fruit contains fructose, and glucose, which are easy to breakdown and use to create more seritonin. Otherwise, those 'unaware' begin to experience a certain cynicism for life because they don't understand that the chemicals needed to experience the emotions of joy and contentment have been depleted. They do more drugs to try to get back to that high, and enter into a viscious cycle of addiction. I only want to educate my fellow partie goers and keep the scene ALIVE and VIBRANT.  Hey what's going on MRB, just some quick info.
I‘ve lived in California for pretty much 2 years now and love every money
bleeding second of it. The people, the music the energy, oh and the
Northern Cali. Cannabis all thrown together make up some very interesting
outcomes. Such as your band, Reggae Hip hop and some cool people. I am a
full time student at Sac. City College and am majoring in..... well we shall
see. I do a lot of yoga, swim, go rock climbing (intermediate) and try to
spend as much time outside as possible. Jamming in the open around my bond
fire or cruzin’ on the motorcycle. Formally living in Germany, South Dakota,
North Carolina, Washington, Georgia and a couple of other states gave me a
real appreciation of what God has given us. So I figure I might as well
take it all in right.
The first time I heard of you all and actually the last time I saw the band
was a couple of months ago, when I stumbled into G St Pub in Davis on a
random night. I am so glad for sporadic occurrences, but I don‚t want
others to miss what I almost did so I figured lets promote these dudes and
keep the vibrations going.
I would prefer to be a street team, but I will e-mail out dates of shows to
my friends across the nation though if it matters at all. I guess any
publicity is good publicity.
