Final Dates of the 2010 SUMMER TOUR! Mystic Roots Band Shows:
Greetings friends! Half-way done with summer and already had such a blast! We just inked a deal with Pacific Hawaiian Music, based out of Oahu, to market and release the CD in Hawaii, Guam, Australia and New Zealand. We met PHM because they also represent our good friends, Katchafire, one of the greatest reggae bands in the world! Plus, PHM also represents The Green, which is our former guitar/vocalist Zion Thompson's new band! So all in all, we feel very confident we have united with a great organization and are incredibly excited about what is to come. As we told you in the last letter, the rest of the world will be marketed and distributed by MVD, an incredible East Coast based company who has put out thousands of titles, but still remains hands-on with their artists. So as we get closer to Oct 5th, we hope you all are ready for this killer release! "Cali-HI". 18 tracks of all new material, featuring guest appearances by Pato Banton, Barrington Levy, Zion of The Green, Shayne T, members of Through The Roots, Natural Incense, Groove Stain, Matt Masih, Marko, Jah Mar... on and on. As promised, it will be a double disc combo. One CD and one DVD, together for the price of the one CD. "Cali-HI", with bonus DVD "What's It Like?" - The Official Mystic Roots Documentary, will be available to the world right around the corner, on Oct 5th, 2010! Soon you will be able to pre-order your copy...
The new CD is packed with all brand new tracks written from the camp, including songs featuring cootdog and Katherine Ramirez, as well as guests like ZION THOMPSON of THE GREEN, BARRINGTON LEVY, THROUGH THE ROOTS, NATURAL INCENSE, SHAYNE T, PATO BANTON & more! To support the release, we will be touring heavy (as usual). Starting this week in Cali, and then joining up with our boys in Katchafire for a US tour through the Fall.
